Coronavirus Update for Community Events

By now, many of you are aware of the growing concern regarding the outbreak of Coronavirus, COVID-2019, in Europe, and on-going monitoring worldwide. Due to our inability to accurately gauge risk at this time, Tezos Commons is canceling community events except for third-party and remote sponsorship for March. TQ Tezos has announced that TQuorum Paris will be rescheduledfollow TQ Tezos on Twitter for future updates. For more information about the disease, situation updates, and information for institutions, please visit the CDC’s informational site.

Help fight Coronavirus with Folding@Home

Johann Tanzer of Tulip Tools made a call to action for the Tezos and broader crypto community to form teams and donate the most substantial amount of computation power by March 30. The winner will receive donated Tez, which is currently at 340 Tez or just under $1,000. Folding@Home performs biomedical research using the computing power of volunteers at Washington University in St. Louis, MO.
